We help people with developmental disabilities develop, improve, or maintain their independent living skills, such as self-care, social skills, housekeeping tasks, and money management. As a Day Habilitation participant, you create a plan for achieving your own goals for greater independence.
Family members are often the first line of resource for clients, but even family members need a break every once in a while. Respite care can relieve pressure on family members by allowing them to take the breaks. Depending on what your needs are, we can help with a few hours here and there as needed, or set up a regular schedule each week to help prevent burnout and preserve a loving family relationship.
As a part of “wrap around” services, a chore worker can help clients in their home. A chore worker is available to help carry out tasks that may be difficult for client, this includes everything from cleaning to food preparation.
